A Homa-Bay cleric who reportedly defiled and impregnated a 16-year-old girl while pretending to ‘heal’ her from leprosy six months ago has been arrested.
The clergyman, reports indicate, had promised the minor’s mother that he was capable of healing her before committing the heinous act and later going into hiding.
After receiving tip off from the public that the cleric had returned home, area Chief Enos in company of police officers went to the home where the man caused commotion while praying for a miracle so that he could avoid arrest.
The police eventually arrested him and detained him at Kabodo police post awaiting arraignment.
