Police in Mombasa have arrested a man suspected to be behind a series of robbery with violence cases in Mombasa county and has been on the run dodging arrests.
The sleuths acting on a tip-off from the members of the public apprehended the 21-year-old Samuel Gona Kaingu commonly known as Foolish as he presented himself at the Mombasa Law Courts in an ongoing case.
On realizing that the police were after him, Mr Kaingu decided to flee, prompting a serious chase by the detectives.
The suspect is expected to be arraigned upon completion of the ongoing investigation where he is likely to be charged with robbery with violence.
