The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has rejected nomination of Mr Paul Mutungi as the Nairobi Deputy Governor.
Mr Mutunga previously served a counselor for Mbotela Ward and City Hall’s Chief of Staff prior to his new appointment.
He has been nominated amid several accusations of land grabbing, corruption and misuse of public resources that he denied before the vetting panel.
