Residents of Kamukuywa village in Kimilili, Bungoma were shocked after a man who was buried last year returned home.
The mutilated body of the man who the family believed had been “killed” was picked from a morgue in Webuye and later buried at their home.
The family could not believe it when he showed up at the village on Monday pointing to a likelihood of having buried the body of someone else.
The man, only identified as Wanjala, claimed he had traveled abroad.
