Police in Meru have arrested a man who reportedly killed his cousin after eating his dried animal fat on Tuesday.
Reports indicate that the suspect arrived home only to find the fat he had stored for future use missing.
Area police boss Alfred Ng’eno said the suspect dragged the victim into the house after attacking him severally and left him to sleep.
The body of the late was discovered in the house by the family members on Wednesday morning.
Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect who has since gone into hiding.
