Isiolo Woman Rep Rehema Jaldesa has tested positive for Covid-19.
Residents were shocked to learn of the news that came a month and a half after she hosted Deputy President William Ruto on February 13.
Ms Jaldesa had since remained silent with residents worried why she had opted to keep it low-key.
Sources told thepresspoint.com that the County MP was being monitored while on home-based care and that she tested positive a few days ago.
It is said that Ms Jaldesa, who recently took the Covid-19 jab, lost the sense of taste and smell prompting her to go for the test which turned out positive.
“We are wishing her quickest recovery and we will continue praying for her,” Ali Mohammed wrote on Facebook.
