Huruma Estate residents in Nakuru County were treated to rude shock after a male pharmacist working at Egerton University stabbed his girlfriend to death following a disagreement before surrendering to police.
According to police reports, the 37-year-old stabbed Purity Mumbi, 22, with a kitchen knife before surrendering himself to Njoro Police station where he confessed to having killed the lady.
Inside his rental house, the victim’s body with injuries on the neck, hands and stomach lay in a pool of blood and was later moved to Egerton University morgue.
The two lovers had reportedly quarrelled on Thursday morning according to neighbours but police are investigating what transpired before the ugly incident.
