Police have arrested two guards in connection with a robbery with violence incident at a go-down site in Makadara, where more than Sh1 million worth of valuables and money was stolen.

The two are suspected to have aided the criminals gain entry into the establishment.

Reports indicate that about eight men armed with crude weapons ambushed 11 chinese nationals who work at the site while having dinner around 8PM last Sunday.

The attackers forced the workers into their resting places where they ordered them to lie down as they ransacked all the rooms.

The criminals walked away with Sh800, 000, eight mobile phones, two laptops and a bag full of valuables all valued at Sh200, 000.

The two suspects are being interrogated as manhunt for the criminals continue.
