Police are investigating the killing of a 18-year-old man and his girlfriend whose decomposing bodies were found locked in their Umoja Zone 8 house in Kamukunji, Nairobi County.
The duo’s phones had gone unanswered for days prompting their guardian to visit the house in bid to establish what had gone wrong.
On arrival at the house, he found the door locked from inside with an awful smell emanating from the house.
A police search inside the house established that the pair had been killed by people suspected to be thieves as their two laptops, mobile phones, 43-inch tv and a sound system were missing.
The lady’s body had cuts on the shoulder, breasts and lower abdomen and was tied from the back with a piece of cloth while her boyfriend’s body lay in the bedroom.
“The mans hands were also tied with a piece of cloth and his body had multiple stab wounds on the back and had a deep cut on the neck,” read part of report shared by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
