A local radio station in Isiolo that had shut its doors following protests by six employees over Sh300, 000 delayed salaries for three months is set to resume operations.

Six journalists had boycotted work halting services at Radio Baliti apparently owned by National Land Commission (NLC) commissioner Ms Tiya Galgalo.

The Press Point is reliably informed that the employer had paid part of the arrears following a truce struck with the aggrieved journalists in the last few days that will see the remaining arrears paid in near future.

Sources intimated that three of the six journalists had agreed to resume work with the rest demanding their full pay before returning to the workplace.
