Two brothers who hacked their 60-year-old father to death yesterday morning at Kiamisiori Bogetunya village in Kisii County are being sought by police.
Mr Boniface Osoro and Getaro Osoro disappeared immediately after the 9am incident, dropping along a blood stained slasher and a kitchen knife believed to be the killer weapons.
Neighbours who responded to the wails of the old man found him lying in a pool of blood, with deep cuts on chest and hands.
Police have intensified search for the two suspects, as investigations into the incident continue to establish the motive of the attack.

Meanwhile, the suspects sneaked away before responders could pounce on them.
Police have intensified search for the two killer sons, as probe continues to establish the motive behind the deadly attack.
Kenyans have been asked to volunteer information to police to assist in arrest of the criminals.
