A 26-year-old man in Naivasha, Nakuru County who murdered his wife for allegedly misusing Sh2, 000 he had given her last weekend is set to be arraigned in court.
The 20-year-old woman is said to have spent the cash without her husband’s permission resulting in a confrontation.
Neighbours earlier said the couple had a heated conversation before the husband got furious and slashed the wife using a panga.
The suspect was later arrested at a hideout near his home village at Njoro in Nakuru.
The officers also recovered the murder weapon that will be used as an exhibit when he is taken to court later today.
