A middle-aged Miraa farmer from Kirindari village in Meru if fighting for his life at Maua Methodist Hospital after his wife chopped off his genitals following a disagreement.
The victim’s wife who had earlier threatened to severe off his genitals while armed with a kitchen knife made true her threat Thursday night spreading fear and panic in the village.
Neighbours who rushed to the home after hearing screams found the 60-year-old writhing in pain with his genitals on the floor and immediately rushed him to the hospital.
The wife has been arrested and is detained at Laare Police Station.
