Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju has dismissed the High Court ruling that more than 20 Chief Administrative Secretaries were in office illegally as the law was not followed.

Tuju insisted that President Uhuru Kenyatta acted according to the constitution and that he did so in consultations with the Public Service Commission.

He hinted on the possibility of the government opposing the decision in a Court of Appeal saying “We are a country guided by law and respect the court ruling but we could appeal on the elements we disagree on”.

During an interview on Citizen TV, the CS dismissed claims that the ruling had caused panic in the cabinet saying there was no cause for alarm.
