Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire has reorganized her cabinet in efforts to ensure improved service delivery.
Health Executive Dr John Mukundi is the new Public Service Chief Officer while Environment Executive Nicolas Kunga has been moved to the Health docket though will serve in acting capacity.
Agriculture Executive Mary Mercy Munene will swap with Finance counterpart Suleiman Nthiga while Finance Chief Officer Ruth Ndirangu has been transferred to Roads and Transport docket in the same capacity.
Ms Ndirangu has been replaced by Agriculture’s Damiano Muthee.
The changes were communicated in an August 31 circular that indicated they were meant to enhance service delivery and smooth operations.
Reports indicate another reshuffle aimed at ejecting her predecessor Martin Wambora’s loyalists in the cabinet is looming.
