Isiolo Governor Abdi Ibrahim Hassan Guyo has unveiled his cabinet retaining two executives who served in the former government of Mohammed Kuti.

Lawrence Mwongera who served as Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries executive in Dr Kuti’s government will head Tourism, Trade, Cooperatives and Enterprise development while Yusuf Dahir who was in charge of Lands has retained the docket and will also be in charge of Peace and Conflict Resolution.

Former Education chief officer Aileen Kajuju (who served in Dr Kuti’s government) has been promoted to Education, Youths, Sports, Culture and Social Services Executive post.

Others in the cabinet are former Isiolo South MP Abdullahi Banticha (Finance and Economic Planning), Yussuf Mohamed Galgalo (Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Special Programs) and Abdi Wario Sarite of Water, Sanitation, Energy, Environment and Natural Resources.

Governor Guyo, in a communication made by the county communication coordinator Hussein Salesa, also announced appointment of four to his team of advisors.

Abdi Nyabure is the Governor’s chief executive advisor, Abdi Hajj Daud economic advisor, Abdi Wario Godana the Chief advisor on Inter-governmental affairs while Gollo Boru Dida was allocated Inter-County and National coordination.

Further, the Governor nominated Dade Boru and Hashim Mohamed Abdi for County Secretary and Attorney posts respectively.
