Ten police recruits at National Police College Main Campus Kiganjo, Nyeri have been arrested over claims of forgery and alteration of their KCSE certificates.
The recruits who were undergoing training at the institution were arrested after their certificates were forwarded to the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) for verification.
It was established that Mr John Crispus Amisi, Kabatha Paul Kimani, Felix Kipkoech Langat, Ms Ndambuki Irene Nzisa, Mwaulid Galgalo Bide, Mr Nyapola Felix Angatia, Mr Natembea M Kelvin, Muithi John Kitavi and Mochama Opio Clive had altered their certificates.
The trainees are held at Kiganjo Police Station awaiting arraignment.
