A couple died and their three-year-old daughter seriously injured after they were knocked down by a lorry transporting building materials along Migori-Muhuru Bay highway.
The two were walking within Kababu junction when the truck veered off the road killing them on the spot Friday afternoon .
Police reports indicate that the vehicle was speeding when it lost control and rolled several times.
The child was rushed to Migori Referral Hospital and the bodies to the same facility’s morgue.
