Five people were Wednesday evening killed and several injured in an attack at Mweronkoro area within Isiolo-Meru border.
One of the bodies was taken to Isiolo Referral Hospital morgue last night while the others were recovered from the scene Thursday morning.
One of the badly injured is nursing gunshot wounds at the Isiolo hospital with reports indicating that he is in critical state.
The total number of those injured in the incident is still unknown.
