The Borana Council of Elders has endorsed former Isiolo Governor Godana Doyo to vie against incumbent Mohammed Kuti.
After nine-day series of meetings in Kinna, the elders unanimously also gave incumbents MPs Hassan Odha (Isiolo North) and Rehema Jaldesa (Woman Rep) greenlight to seek reelection.
Former Isiolo Speaker Mohammed Tupi and Nuh Mohammed Ibrahim were also endorsed to vie for Isiolo South MP and Senate seats respectively.
