Police in Busia are hunting down a man who reportedly chopped off his wife’s hands and escaped on a motorbike.
Reports indicate that Bernard Ouma assaulted his 32-year-old wife and went into hiding, raising fear and suspicion among the locals.
According to the victim’s elder sister, the couple had no history of domestic conflicts prior to the incident.
Police have launched investigations into the matter while the victim receives treatment at Busia County Referral Hospital.
