Wyncate Ntinyari, an alumnus of Laikipia University, is the founder and coordinator of Youth and Power Movement, a Community Based Organization operating in Meru County and its environs.

Y&P was founded three years ago and aims at empowering and uniting young people to be the voice of the voiceless in society.

The CBO also aims at enriching the community with knowledge by creating awareness on issues affecting members of the community.

“Our focus is on transforming the community into the world that everyone wants to live in and advocate for equality of both gender in the society,” she says.

Ms Ntinyari is currently leading her group in carrying out a breast cancer awareness campaign dubbed Lets Go Pink.

The campaign seeks to create awareness to as many women as possible on the causes, signs and symptoms of breast cancer, while also giving hope to those fighting the disease, championing for early screening and celebrating the survivors as well as honouring women and girls who lost the battle to breast cancer.

The campaign, which runs up to the end of this month, targets women in social gatherings and social media platforms.

If you would like to be part of the CBO reach out to Ms Ntiyari through +254 799 410450 or Youth_and_Power_Movement on facebook.

Here at The Press Point wish to congratulate Ms Ntinyari for her relentless support towards serving humanity.

Happy Mashujaa Day Y&P movement, we celebrate you.
