The dust to dawn curfew that restricted Kenyans from being outside from 10:00pm to 4:00am has been lifted.

President Uhuru Kenyatta in his Mashujaa Day speech announced the lift but urged Kenyans to be careful in their interactions maintaining that the fight against Coronavirus was still on.

Mr Kenyatta had on Monday hinted that the curfew would be lifted soon raising the expectations of several Kenyans.

The ban has been on since March last year.

MPs allied to DP William Ruto had earlier on called on the government to lift the ban saying it has greatly affected the country’s economy.
