Police in Mukuru kwa Njenga, Nairobi are holding a 32-year-old woman who allegedly assaulted her husband over a domestic tiff.
The woman only identified as Kerubo is said to have hit the 37-year-old husband with a soda bottle on the head leaving him for the dead over suspected “mpango wa kando”.
Neighbours say a scuffle ensued after the woman confronted the man accusing him of having an affair with another woman.
“She assaulted the husband on suspicion that he was having a secret affair,” one of the residents claimed.
The injured man was rushed to Bristol Park hospital while bleeding profusely.
The suspect is being interrogated ahead of her arraignment over assault charges.
