A witch doctor in Botsotso, Kakamega County has been hailed for using his magical powers to track down livestock thieves and bring them to book.
Three men who had stolen the animals were attacked by a swarm of bees and presented themselves in Emusanda village carrying on their shoulders the stolen goat and a calf.
This came after the owner of the livestock Tolibert Imbiakah, 42, visited the witch doctor, after finding the animals missing from their pen two days ago.
The witch doctor visited the man’s compound and conducted some rituals and then left telling the owner not to worry as the thugs would come looking for him after two days.
Today at 10am, the three suspects: Winston Mutiele, John Bukhazio and Hillary Momanyi emerged with their hands mobbed by swarms of bees as they carried the animals.
The owner of the animals positively identified his stock as the witch doctor took possession of his bees before handing over the apologetic thugs to authorities.
