Police in Migori are searching for Class eight leaver who attacked and seriously wounded his former headteacher during a visit to Arundo Primary school for clearance.
The suspect descended on Kephar Onsongo with blows and kicks in his office after he was asked to return some stationery he allegedly lost and fled on a motorbike.
The seriously injured headteacher, who was spotted by teachers while lying unconscious, was rushed to a nearby health centre before being referred to Nyangena Hospital.
Reports indicate that the pupil joined the school in class seven after being expelled from another school due to indiscipline cases.
The pupil is said to have ventured into bodaboda business after dropping out of school.
