Detectives are holding Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Nelson Havi over claims of physically assaulting the society’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mercy Wambua.

Police reports indicate that Ms Wambua through a police statement indicated that the LSK boss assaulted her during a meeting held at their offices on Monday.

Ms Wambua said the boss scuffled her leading to her injuring her arm.

She termed the act as embarrassing and humiliating and called upon security organs to take stern action against Mr Havi.

Mr Havi however, dismissed the claims saying the CEO forced her way into the boardroom interrupting the whole session while she intended to secretly record the proceedings.
