Ex-Machakos First Lady Lilian Ng’a ng’a has appealed to the Inspector General of Police and Director of Public Prosecutions to arrest and charge Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua for allegedly threatening her and stealing her properties.
Ms Ng’ang’a who broke up with the Maendeleo Chap Chap Party leader four months ago claimed her life was in danger following threats from the Governor.
The couple announced, in separate posts in August, that they had separated after their long-term relationship.
Through her lawyer Philip Murgor, the woman, who in early September announced that she was in a relationship with rapper Julius Owino popularly known as Juliani, said Dr Mutua had refused to let her go even after reminding him that “they were not married” but just long term friends.
“Dr Mutua has been overreacting to our separation. While I insisted I wanted to move on, he thought otherwise,” she said adding that Dr Mutua had refused to move on.
Juliani earlier recorded a statement with police over an alleged threat to his life, a case that is being investigated.
Ms Ng’ang’a says while in company of two friends on September 22 during a meeting at Windsor Golf and Country Club requested the Governor for ‘mature and amicable’ separation but he demanded she returns all the money he ever gave her.
She claims, Dr Mutua also threatened to harm her and persons close to her.
“He further demanded that I apologise and retract the statements I have made on social media over our breakup which I declined,” she added.
During a press briefing in Nairobi, Ms Ng’ang’a claimed that two months after they broke up (September 8), the Governor sneaked into her Kileleshwa apartment parking lot using a spare key he allegedly illegally obtained and drove away her vehicle KBY 186G which was registered in her name in 2014.
The Presidential hopeful would thereafter sell the vehicle to a third party prompting her to file a case in court.
She further accused the Governor of transferring her 1800 shares of Sh10 each in Ndash Enterprise Limited to his sister Ann Mbandi Mutua without her consent.
Ms Ng’ang’a claimed two documents, a circular resolution and transfer of shares form both dated June 10, 2021 lodged at Companies Registry bore forged signature that was reportedly superimposed.
She had early last month (October 7) filed a case in Milimani High Court for restraining orders after the alleged threats to her life.
The Governor, she said, was accusing her of being used by his political opponents to tarnish his name.
“The Governor should return my property, cease threatening my life and those around me and stop his arrogance, wanton abuse of power, manipulation and bullying,” she said in a press release dated November 4.
