Former Meru Sports Executive Daniel Kiogora has been charged with forgery before a Meru Magistrate court.
Mr Kiogora was arrested on Monday evening for forging his University degree certificate that he used to apply for the work at the Meru County government and which showed that he graduated with a second class upper division Bachelor of Commerce degree from the institution in 2010.
He also presented the fake academic papers to the Anti-graft agency.
Appearing before the Chief Magistrate court, Mr Kiogora denied the forgery charges and was released on Sh1 million bond or Sh500, 000 cash bail.
