Police in Kirinyaga have launched investigations into an incident where a headless body of a young man was found floating in River Nyamindi.
The identity of the man, who police suspect was killed elsewhere and the body dumped in the River, still remains unknown.
“We are piecing information together to establish the criminals behind the heinous act and the motive of the killing,” Kirinyaga East Sub-County Police boss Antony Wanjuu said.
The body was discovered by some women from Mbiri village who had gone to fetch water at the river.
