Four people died and one seriously injured after the car they were traveling in was involved in an accident at Kinungi area in Nakuru county.
Reports indicate that the Nairobi-bound Saloon car, said to have been speeding, rammed into a lorry ferrying ballast at the notorious stretch along Nakuru-Nairobi highway killing the four on the spot.
The two vehicles were heading on same direction and were using the climbing lane when the accident occurred on Monday evening.
The injured is hospitalised at Naivasha Sub-County hospital with the bodies preserved at the facility’s morgue.
