EACC detectives arrest Nairobi County official for soliciting Sh500, 000 bribe
The Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission detectives today arrested a senior Nairobi County government official over bribe allegations.
Moses Munyi, a superintendent in charge of operations at the City’s Investigations department, allegedly solicited for Sh500, 000 to offer security and protection to a complainant in a land dispute case.
The arrest was made after a complaint was filed by a resident yesterday.
The suspect was arrested while receiving part of the bribe amounting to Sh130, 000.
He is being interrogated at Integrity Centre.
