Chuka University Vice-Chancellor Erastus Njoka will appear before sleuths from the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) on Wednesday to respond to allegations that he has fake academic certificates.
The Press Point is reliably informed that Prof Njoka was summoned a month ago and promised to appear before the Upper Eastern EACC office in Isiolo on August 25, 2021.
EACC upper Eastern boss George Ojowi confirmed that investigations into the legitimacy of the VC’s academic certificates were underway but refused to divulge further information.
“As of now, we are only interested in his academic certificates. He (Njoka) will appear before our office tomorrow (Wednesday),” Mr Ojowi told The Press Point.
