Police in Nairobi are interrogating controversial blogger Robert Alai for allegedly assaulting a gospel artist and vandalising his car following a disagreement.
Sources say an altercation ensued after Ringtone asked the blogger to give way after reportedly failing to drive past a junction despite the traffic lights having turned green.
After driving past him, the singer said, Mr Alai started following his car before blocking and hitting him with a club (rungu).
The singer said the blogger also vandalised his car.
Police sources said the blogger will be arraigned on Monday and likely to be charged with malicious damage to property and assault.
