Five Wajir residents have obtained court orders stopping replacement of Governor Mohammed Abdi Mohammud who was impeached by the Senate on Monday evening.
The directions by the Meru High Court come few hours after Deputy Governor Ahmed Muktar was sworn in as the Governor by Justice Said Chitembwe.
The process has been stopped until the case filed by the five is heard and determined.
