A Tharaka Nithi couple that died under unclear circumstances had an altercation, a CCTV footage retrieved from the house shows.

It is suspected the Chuka University architect was allegedly killed by his wife before she took away her life at their Kamacuku home in Maara.

The CCTV shows the couple getting home Sunday evening while in a Double cabin pickup and having some disagreement while headed towards the parking.

They would then proceed to their room at the third floor of their building.

The man would moment later rush out and open the gate ready to leave for an unidentified location.

He would then go back to the poorly lit parking only for him to be seen falling on the ground with a woman also seen hitting him severally with an object.

The woman is moments later seen going upstairs before her body is seen dangling at their balcony.

While all this went on, the househelp and their three children were sleeping.

A blood-stained metal rod believed to have been the murder weapon was recovered from the scene.

Police recovered a suicide note from the woman apologizing to her three children for “killing herself”.
