The 10-member Bulapesa ward Planning Committee that was elected last week are today electing their officials to steer the team’s activities.
The team is composed of 10 representatives from Central and Waso locations of men, women, youth and one person who is yet to be nominated at the ward level to represent People Living with Disabilities.
Among the members are Ms Modesta Abei, Lydiah Ntinyari, Mr Godfrey Gitonga, Fred Okumu and Patric Muniaru from Waso Location and Ms Fani Mohamud, Doti Jama, Halima Iyesa, Mr Wario Elgoi and Abduba Molu representing Central Location.
Bulapesa is the eighth ward to have a planning committee that will steer development in the area.
The exercise is being facilitated by Merti Integrated Development Programme (MID-P) in partnership with USAID.
