Isiolo’s Wabera ward MCA-elect Salesio Kiambi has appealed to the government to grant him state security claiming his life was in danger and some people were out to kill him.
Rubbishing claims in a trending twitter post that claimed he had passed on following a short illness, Mr Kiambi said there could be criminals who were planning to kill him and were diverting the public’s attention by sharing rumours.
“Maybe they are planning to do something bad so that later on, they claim that I was unwell. My life is in danger and I need government’s protection,” he said.
He maintained he was healthy and determined to work for the electorates and urged those who vied against him to join him in bettering the lives of the electorates.
“I urge them to stop spreading ungodly rumours and join me in serving our people,” said Mr Kiambi.
The case that was reported vide OB 37/28/08/22 and has already been forwarded to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation for further action.
