Isiolo Governor Abdi Ibrahim Guyo has reshuffled chief officers in five different departments in bid to improve service delivery in the county.
In the changes, Vocational and Technical Training Chief officer Stephen Kiambi has been moved to Education and Early Childhood department replacing Salad Diba Rogicha who is the new Roads and Transport chief officer.
Mr Diba takes over from Ali Wario who has been moved to Water and Sanitation department, replacing Godana Dida Abduba who is new chief officer of Agriculture and Irrigation.
Longest serving chief officer Salad Tutana who was in-charge of Agriculture department takes over the Vocational and Technical Training.
“The move is meant to improve service delivery in line with my electoral manifesto,” Mr Guyo said in the announcement made by County Communication Coordinator Hussein Salesa Friday evening.
Reiterating his commitment to ensure effective service delivery to the residents, the Governor directed County Secretary Dade Boru to supervise the hand-over process and submit a report in a week’s time.
