Three Kenya Defence Forces soldiers perished and eight others were critically injured after a truck they were traveling in towards Nairobi from Eldoret crashed along Nakuru-Eldoret Highway.
Reports indicate the vehicle veered off the road at Jogoo area in Kuresoi North after the driver lost control of the truck killing the three on the spot during the Thursday accident.
Those injured were rushed to Molo Sub-County hospital.
Police sources told The Press Point that about 20 soldiers were in the truck at the time of the accident.
“Eight of the soldiers were badly injured while nine others sustained minor injuries,” the officer said.
