Kiamuvuro village in Embu has been thrown into mourning after an 18-year-old young man who completed Secondary last year set himself ablaze over a land dispute.
Reports indicate that Gregory Mugane had before killing himself last night demanded a share of the family land from his mother.
Frustrated after the mother asked him to wait until crops on the farm are harvested, the irate man locked himself in one of the houses, soused his body with petrol before setting himself on fire.
The house had been reduced to ashes by the time neighbours and his relatives moved to put out the fire.
