Chama cha Kazi leader and outgoing Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has filed a petition at the Supreme Court seeking to have a suit lodged by Azimio la Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga against President elect William Ruto quashed over alleged electoral offence.
The controversial politician through Omwanga Nyambwengi and Company Advocates claimed Mr Odinga was filing a petition with dirty hands on the ground as his agents “caused chaos at Bomas of Kenya” during tallying of the Presidential results.
“Mr Odinga through chief agent Kanchory and others caused violence at the Bomas of Kenya tallying centre, physically assaulted IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati and other commissioners,” Mr Kuria posted on Facebook.
He further claimed the Azimio leader has continued with activities to disrupt the electoral process and subvert the will of the people.
“He who seeks justice must come with clean hands. Raila will be disqualified from the Supreme Court petition as he is not coming with clean hands. Let justice flow like a mighty stream,” he added amid online bashing from netizens.
“Please be informed about what you should report to the DCI and police for investigations and possible arrests to happen and what you should file in a court of law,” Noah Andati responded.
Ibrahim Odhiambo wondered why the leader was sharing the matter online instead of “taking all those claims and evidences to the Supreme Court”.
Nancy Nyambura lauded him saying “I was wondering if anyone was going to hold them accountable for the irresponsible actions”.
Mr Kuria lost the Kiambu gubernatorial race in the just concluded August 9 elections and conceded defeat even before the winner Kimani Wamatangi of UDA was announced the Governor elect.
