Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki is set to issue a public statement over Deputy President William Ruto’s unveiling of Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate in the presidential race.
Prof Kindiki who gave the event a wide berth was the first runners up in the Kenya Kwanza deputy contest.
The Senator hailed Kenyans and leaders who supported and vouched for his nomination.
“Following the decision taken by my party and Kenya Kwanza coalition today, I will make my official statement in public May 16 (today),” he said.
