The pattern and evidence is out for all to see.
The just ended UDA party nominations have revealed the party strongholds and they are not different from what honest political analysts have been pointing out.
One can be forgiven to think UDA is a Mt Kenya and Rift-Valley and not a national party as alleged by its stalwarts.
The disputes and fallouts that followed the shambolic nominations, and low voter turnout is testimony UDA is a political paper tiger.
The party has exposed its soft underbelly and it is nobody’s guess where its opponents will concentrate their onslaughts against it in future.
If this pattern and voting trend, especially within Mt Kenya continues, it shall be a miracle if UDA gets over 35 per cent of cast votes in the August general elections.
As I write, the party is injured so badly even its diehards are just wearing false smiles and pretending all is well when deep in their hearts they know that they are staring defeat in the face.
My prediction is that frustrated UDA will result into extremes because desperate times call for desperate measures.
Going forward, Azimio Alliance should prepare for kamakize (suicidal) onslaughts from UDA party leader and members.
One thing is for sure, the kicks of a dying bull are as dangerous.
UDA will go down fighting up to the end.
