It will no longer be mandatory for Kenyans to wear masks in open public places after government lifted the ban following low positivity rate in the country.
In a communication made by Health CS Mutahi Kagwe, the State also allowed full in-person worship for vaccinated persons.
Citizens will however be required to wear masks and adhere to social distancing rules during indoor meetings which CS Kagwe said will resume full capacity.
The government has also allowed Public Service Vehicles to resume full capacity with passengers at liberty to wear masks.
“The measures will however be reviewed from time to time,” Mr Kagwe said.
