Police in Tana River are investigating an incident where a man allegedly killed his friend over Sh500 he had sent him with to buy miraa.
Reports indicate that the 38-year-old Abdallah Said Jaro was sent by Mr Yusuf Dube Madero only to come back with neither the cash nor the miraa.
An argument arose before Mr Madero attacked the victim with a panga killing him on spot at Riketa village, Kona Masa Location.
The body of the deceased was recovered near a fishing camp on the River Tana tributaries.
The suspect is currently being held awaiting arraignment upon completion of the ongoing investigation.
