The last surviving Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Archbishop Desmond Tutu is died.
The late who is known across South Africa and outside for his staunch faith and objection to apartheid rule succumbed at 90 years after a long battle with prostate cancer.
South African president Cyril Ramaphosa has mourned him as a true patriot who strived to serve his people without boundaries.
“Desmond Tutu was a patriot without equal, a leader of principle and pragmatism to who gave meaning to the biblical insight that faith without work is dead,” said President Ramaphosa.
