Detectives are in pursuit of a car dealer who reportedly conned a client Sh1.3 million promising to ship a vehicle for him but later failed to honour the agreement.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) has appealed to members of the public to volunteer information that could lead to the arrest of Mr Kamau Mweha who is also linked with several incidences of obtaining money by false pretence.
Police reports indicate that Mr Mweha had been charged at Milimani Law Courts but was released on bail terms.
Efforts to arrest him have not borne fruits as he has since gone into hiding.
Anyone with information of his whereabouts is advised to anonymously report to the DCI through their toll free line.
