Three police officers are feared dead and several injured following a banditry attack at Jabi in Mandera.
The officers, headed towards Ramu, were ambushed by armed bandits who opened fire at them killing some on the spot.
The injured, police sources say, were rushed to nearby hospital.
Police are yet to issue the exact number of victims and survivors though sources say the attacked vehicle had close to 10 officers.
