The Borana Council of Elders is set to endorse former Isiolo Governor Godana Doyo to battle it out with incumbent Mohammed Kuti in the 2022 general elections.
The elders have in the last few days been meeting in Kinna to deliberate on the community’s political direction.
The elders will also endorse Isiolo North MP Hassan Odha to seek a reelection, sources have revealed.
The Abdullahi Gonjobe team is set to issue the deliberations today.
